Hardworking nurse is constantly accosted by downstairs neighbor for being ‘loud’ even though she's at work for 14-hours a day, gets her evicted with one email: ‘Absolutely insane behavior.’

Woman works 14-hour shifts almost every day as a nurse. 

This means she is hardly ever home. And yet, she still gets accosted by the entitled neighbor who lives below her that she is being "too loud" all day and night… 

The math is just not mathing, Ms. Karen neighbor. If you have ever lived in an apartment building, then you know what it is like to hear your neighbors. Unless they are being egregiously loud during the day or keeping you away during night, then you really just all silently agree to ignore whatever you hear between those walls. As a first-floor-apartment-dweller myself, I always hear my upstairs neighbors. They have a dog and are a professional stand-up bass player! So, they are not quiet neighbors. But we all have a silent agreement to not be too loud after 10pm, and we are all respectful of that. 

Unfortunately, this hardworking nurse was living above a total Karen who seemed to think any noise at all was the upstairs neighbor's fault. Literally, days when she wasn't even home, this neighbor would still contact the landlord or even call the police because she was being "too loud." Meanwhile, she's not even home, or she's just lying in her bed…

  • So what do you do when you're stuck sharing a building with a delulu Karen? Well, you can't really do too much other than move, but your next best course of action is to thoroughly read the rules of the apartment. We mean the written-down rules, not just the silently agreed-upon ones. 

    When she did this, she saw a rule that made it clear that all of her entitled neighbor's “complaints” were actually harassment. Since she was unable to prove the noise disturbance every time she made the calls, they were not valid. 

    She pointed this out to her landlord who then confessed that this neighbor has had issues with her “noise complaints” before. It was so bad that the last neighbors moved because of it. 

    So, the last straw was finally being had and this one email turned into an eviction notice of the entitled Karen neighbor. That's karma for ya, bestie!

  • Anyway, i kept record of every single incident and looked in my lease and emailed them with the EXACT addendum numbers that she was breaking which were a couple for harassment and making tenants feel unsafe and other stuff.
